At dawn on February 1, our company also entered the system of Nemzeti Mobilfizetési Zrt., through which the travelling public can also buy tickets and passes from a smart phone. In the app, you can also buy single tickets, day tickets, weekly tickets, as well as full-fare and discounted passes.

Upon boarding, passengers must validate their tickets or passes by scanning the QR code posted and present the animated symbol appearing in the app after validation to the driver.

At the time of writing this article, Nemzeti Mobilfizetési Kft. is selling tickets and passes used in local public transport in Paks via K&H Bank, OTP Simple and VoxPay applications, in addition to its own app. A public transport mobile ticket is a complete replacement for paper-based fare products, and can be purchased at any time, in advance from your home, or even while standing at a stop. All you need (in addition to a credit card) to purchase and validate a ticket is a smartphone running Android or iOS with an active internet connection, which can take photos.
