As the five and a half millionths has been vaccinated, the Government decided that passengers are not required to wear a mask when using public transport from 3 July.
On 2 July 2021, the number of first vaccinations against Covid-19 pandemic in Hungary reached 5.5 million. This was announced by the Minister of Interior dr. Sándor Pintér, at the same time stating that Government Decree No. 365/2021 (VI. 30.) containing measures to ease epidemiological restrictions in effect will enter into force the next day, i.e. on 3 July 2021. From that day on, the regulation does not require public transport users to cover their mouths and noses during travel, so from tomorrow onwards, nobody will have to wear a mask on the public buses in Paks, either. However, the regulation also provides that no one is obliged to leave the mask.
Our company thanks the passengers for the discipline and patience they have shown in recent months to curb the spread of the virus. We wish everyone who chooses electric buses in Paks good health, a pleasant trip and a safe arrival.
