Another Crash on Highway 6

Another road accident occurred on Highway 6 between Dunakömlőd and Paks, resulting in potential delays and outages across the entire line network until the end of the accident scene investigation.

UPDATE: Site investigation ended at 9:45 a.m., so traffic could start again. Buses 1 again run the full length of the line.

A personal injury accident similar to the one on 2 November occurred shortly before 8:00 a.m. in the vicinity of Téglagyár. All lanes have been closed for site investigation. The accident occurred during the morning rush hour, and several of our vehicles got stuck in the traffic jam around the accident scene.

Our colleagues will make every effort to minimize the impact of the accident; however, delays and cancellations are expected throughout the entire network, on all routes. While traffic restrictions are in place, our buses on Line 1 will run up to Anna utca only in the direction of Dunakömlőd. On their way back, our services will first stop at Szent István tér and wait to align with their scheduled travel time.

It is not yet possible to estimate in advance how much time at-scene process will take, but as soon as the obstacle is cleared, our bus schedules will be restored immediately.
